This exhibition presents the creative process of commissioning artworks in urban space. It brings together the projects of 10 artists selected following a call for applications as well as a choice of studies from the national commission for temporary and reactivable works for public spaces, from the National Center for Plastic Arts. THE PUBLIC ART TRIENNALE aims to promote research and preliminary studies of works (in the form of drawings, models, volumes, photographs, etc.) in relation to the territory of Ivry-sur-Seine.

La Lune en parachute, Center of art, Épinal. The exhibition PAR-DELÀ will be an opportunity for the invited visual artists, Juliette Choné, Katrin Gattinger, Arno Gisinger, Thibault Honoré and Justine Maljak, to explore the theme of the “border”, in a unique co-creation exhibition.
Exploring the concepts of threshold and crossing, the work of these five artists guides the public through plural aesthetics which combine the practices of image and object, those of sound and performance. This research at work provides an overview of the notion of border which opens up to numerous in situ occurrences and whose formal, philosophical and political issues reveal the edges. Curator : Michelle Honoré.

Nous qualifions de féral une espèce domestique animale retournée à l'état sauvage. Plus récemment, naturalistes, chercheur·se·s et penseur·se·s ont étendu la notion de féralité, ce synonyme de réensauvagement, aux écosystèmes, aux milieux et aux sociétés afin de questionner et de défendre leurs capacités à s’émanciper de l’emprise et de l’exploitation humaine.
Sur les bords du monde se trouvent des lignes de partages et de rencontres, d’alliances et d’apprentissages. S’y rendre attentif, c’est ouvrir d’autres voies afin d’accueillir et de prendre soin des vivants, d’envisager une place singulière à l’expression du sauvage parmi les
multiples vies qui peuplent la Terre.
C’est ainsi que des artistes habitent notre monde fragile. Elles·ils élaborent des pratiques sensibles proches des lisières, s’engagent au quotidien par leur manière de prendre la mesure de leur territoire et d’entretenir des relations particulières avec les expressions de la nature en présence.

"The templum (sector) is traced in the sky by the augur holding the lituus (staff), and the flight of birds guides him to interpret the manifestation, aided by the natural phenomena which guide decision-making. »*
It is from a Roman custom borrowed from the Etruscans – to observe the trajectories of the flight of birds in a portion of the sky previously delimited and called templum that the verb to contemplate derives and beyond our notion of contemplation.
Like the "templum", the gallery space presents a set of artistic proposals evoking links, relationships, animal testimonies as so many proposals for an idea of nature in the making... This animal world, these trajectories of the living evoked, would be in this exhibition the common denominator of our “animal side”. "A kind of water table of the sensitive, a kind of distant and undivided, uncertain reserve"* where everyone could draw near-distant.
